George William Vella (born 24 April 1942) is a Maltese politician and currently the 10th President of Malta since it became a republic in 1974. Vella is a member of the Maltese Labour Party and started his parliamentary career in 1976. He served as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 1996 to 1998 and from 2013 to 2017 and in 2019 he was inaugurated as the President.
A few days ago I wrote an email and requested an autograph and today I received a signed photo.
